Hello Math Kangaroo Managers,

Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your families!

This lecture, led by Math Kangaroo Greece colleague Prof. Michael Lambrou, who has contributed more Math Kangaroo competition questions than anyone in the organization’s history, explores ways to make mathematics engaging by combining historical insights with practical teaching strategies. Drawing on Plato’s view that math should be taught playfully while fostering creative thinking, the session uses examples from Recreational Mathematics to present elegant, accessible problems that complement the curriculum, spark curiosity, and promote creative problem-solving.
