We received an outstanding 185 poster submission, 17 from adults and 168 from students, representing 23 different states. The poster review committee was impressed by the creative, thoughtful, and humorous math-themed submissions, making it difficult to choose just one winner.

We are thrilled to announce Fidel Chirag, 3rd grade student from Conroe, TX, as the winner of the Math Kangaroo 2027 Poster Contest! His design captures the limitless scale of math, bridging national pride with universal exploration, and transforms the 2027 theme into a vision of dreaming beyond the planet.

We are excited to announce Suraj Berry,1st grade student from Santa Clara, CA, as the winner of the Math Kangaroo 2027 T-shirt Design Contest! Suraj captures the core pillars of the competition: Logic, Geometry, Combinatorics, Algebra, and Number Theory. The Kangaroo is literally "hopping" across these blocks, symbolizing a student's progress through the levels of mathematics.
